My granddad is an excellent craftsman and has among many things made and painted a couple of dozen Great Tits, the whole extended family has one. When I saw this design I knew I had to make it for him. At 91 he is still going strong, I hope I can stay crafting as long as him!

Castles in the air - UFO slashing
Wednesday, March 02, 2016 Posted In 2016 Finishes , Stitching Edit This 0 Comments »Castles in the air by Papillon creations. This was a SAL I joined a few years ago, and I loved the first few installments, but then it took an odd turn and I fell out of love with it. I always loved this bit though, and finally decided to get it done. I only had two circles and four pots to go plus the beads, so two nights of work did the job. Really pleased with how it turned out - and with the colours I chose. Finished 27th February 2016.
